Align the Team (Principle)

Basic Section Information

Very few people come to work with the intention of doing a bad job or doing the wrong thing. People want to be personally successful, and they want to be on a winning team. Unfortunately, many people operate in a vacuum of leadership. They have little idea how what they do on a daily basis affects the big picture of the company.

The principles on this list go a long way towards getting people operating on the same page. Other leadership and communication tools such as policy deployment, daily management, and A3 reports also help turn this principle into reality.

CI Transformation Principles are the guiding rules that apply to all companies that are trying to make changes. They are similar to natural laws. Learn more about how principles guide your Lean journey in our entry on ‘Principles and Values.’
